I had the honor to be elected to serve three-terms on the Chaska City Council, representing both residents and business owners within our fine city. As a council member, I worked to promote transparency and encourage open communication within our local government. I also worked with fellow council members, the Mayor, and City staff, to strengthen and diversify our tax base (thereby keeping our taxes lower!), attract new businesses, and strategically plan for our future, while assuring continued upkeep and maintenance of our municipal infrastructure. Assist Department Manager with preparation and monitoring of program budgets. • Assist in design and construction oversight of the Scott County hazardous waste facility in 2001. Guide efforts to expand and update the same facility. • Perform strategic planning for the organization, to determine future needs and opportunities.• Prepare annual reports for grant providers, State of MN, County Board, and stakeholders.
