Purchasing Officer
CurrentThis role draws upon my wide range of skills and experiences. It's purchasing with a twist that involves reporting to the General Manager, working closely with the Maintenance Manager, Food & Beverage Managers, Operations Manager and Special Events Creative Director while implementating best practice purchasing systems. Core tasks include liaising with suppliers, product and service research, cost analysis and procurement of equipment that spans building materials, kitchen food production equipment and sourcing specialist items necessary for the theme park and special events including coordinating manufacture of often unusual custom made items. My skills as a banquet chef, food & beverage coordinator, chief steward and engineering purchasing officer all merge to source goods and deliver imaginative outcomes and solutions in this unique environment.
