I'm a hospitality professional with years of experience managing five star resort hotel departments. I have depth as well as breadth of knowlege of resort operations which has accumulated since I entered this industry as an apprentice chef upon leaving school. I progressed through food and beverage operations and purchasing, gaining valuable experience through significant opportunities including a secondment to Grand Hyatt Fukuoka Japan pre-opening team; purchasing for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) which included sourcing special supplies for HRH Queen Elizabeth II; and management of purchasing for major domestic events including Young Professionals Organisation conferences (1000 delegates) and the annual week-long Australian PGA Tournament. Today I am a well-seasoned and knowledgeable hospitality manager and all-rounder with a deep affection and commitment to this dynamic and rewarding industry. I currently work as a team member of Aussie World, a developing theme park located on the Sunshine Coast.
