I am the founder of Atelier Bond, a bespoke architecture and interiors studio in Dulwich, in Adelaide's eastern suburbs. I launched into a career in architecture after a misguided detour in commerce - and have the piece of paper to prove it. However, my childhood obsession with drawing plans and building Lego houses was the clue my calling was elsewhere.⁠⁠I was fortunate to get my first professional gig was under the tutelage of Fran B at Tectvs and have not looked back since. More than 20 years later, I've worked on everything from Middle Eastern monoliths for Woods Bagot when living in Dubai, to high rises in Beijing and Monterey while at their San Fran office. ⁠⁠⁠⁠Even though my wanderlust has not subsided, I'm thrilled that Adelaide is now my permanent address to my family, which includes his wife and collaborator, Leisha, their young children, Owen and Ruby - the latter wants you to know "my dad is a good architect". ⁠⁠⁠⁠I get immense joy in 'design jamming' with the amazing personalities who make up our practice and helping our clients' dreams become a reality (sounds a little schmaltzy but it's true). I am passionate about offering our clients an approachable service so their experience of the design process is inclusive as possible.
