-Provided quality control on research publications for a federal systems integrator working with the Navy to manage defense contractor execution in the design, development, and building of Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) -Overhauled and implemented a new system of figure creation to improve file quality and accessibility of 200+ figures used within the Interface Control Document (ICD) for the LCS Program-Built a software program to extract files from their respective server locations and insert the extracted files into a document for final document exportation reducing necessary time to complete from three or more hours to three minutes-Improved 500 page ICD document quality through business trip to capture changed data and current pictures during an “on ship” LCS inspection-Created a proof of concept, database-driven website intended to eliminate current problems that exist with ICD document creation including limited access, editing issues, and unnecessary repetition of tasks to keep document up to date

-Independently designed and built a complete model for a small instrument proposal designed to improve technology readiness level (TRL) of sample analysis capabilities for use as instrument packages on future rovers-Learned Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and applied it to produce detailed fabrication drawings for many different assemblies -Produced ground support equipment to aid in the assembly of projects through CAD modeling and rapid prototyping-Designed, quoted and ordered parts for test fixtures of a hexagonal array of 37, 165 micron diameter fiber optic cables-Responsible for reference and acronym portions of a 1000-page telescope proposal
