I started my journey in the forging industry at the age of 18. I have worked my way from a Shear operator to reducer rolls/hot trimmer to hammer smith. Eventually running my own crew of hammer smiths to being promoted to Production Supervisor. After completing years of being a Production Supervisor i was promoted to Production Manager. In this role I have used my years, skill/knowledge to help create opportunities for improvement in all aspects related to forging, manpower issues, training, safety, team building and most of all, open lines of communication. Transferring over to PC Forge in 2020 my job saw me overseeing the project of removing a 4000T Erie Forge Press from our WF site to our PC Forge site. Leading into another project of installing an Automated Saw at our H&S facility. This journey involved a lot of planning and overseeing multiple trades and adjusting to multiple obstacles through out the project. My new career path has lead me to Health & Safety at PC Forge.Working with forging, Automotive, Heavy Truck, Oil & gas, Agriculture & Mining has been an interesting journey and experience.
