LED DisplaysMilliken DistributionMilliken Distribution also known as Milliken Multimedia sells and services LED message centers and billboards.I was responsible for configuring message center boards (LED Signs) from China, repackaging and forwarding to the end user. I currently have one; I was a working supervisor and was involved with installing proprietary software on an industrial PC housed within the sign cabinet, setting up a remote file transfer point from a supplied laptop to the industrial PC and running tests to ensure the system is stable. Wireless devices were also tested and installed per contract requirement. A third-party sign company was typically responsible for installing the message boards at their end user's location. Once installed I was contacted to coordinate installation assistance and user training. I used a variety of free on line tools to log in to the supplied laptop and verify system compliance. Once verified I conducted the end user training via phone and the remote access software tools such as Logmein or TeamViewer.

GPS Industries (formerly UpLink Corporation) sells and services Global Positioning Systems for golf coursemanagement using WI-FI and line of site radio technology.As a Client Services Representative I managed 52 client accounts. The management required monthly proactive calls to course managers, upgrade software as necessary using remote control software over the internet and troubleshooting problems with customers on the phone. I was also responsible for selling service contracts and securing funding to dispatch on site service when necessary.I was working as a Field Service Representative and was responsible for installing the radio networks, computer interfaces and user interface monitors (caddies)on the courses.The installations usually took 3-5 days after which I trained the course personnel. Training involved all course personnel on operation of the application software, trouble shooting and replacing the display units on the golfer's cars. I also shared ideas how to maximize the pace of play on their course.My territory extended into the entire western half of the United States and Canada. My primary responsibility involved maintaining 32 courses over a 5 state region. I worked directly with course personnel by remotely logging into their system via Logmein or PC Anywhere. If I was unable to correct the problem remotely I scheduled a site visit and repaired the problem.

Operate and maintain mainframe computer libraries for Montana Department of Labor and Industry. Perform desktop support for users on network with hardware, application, connectivity and password problems. Hardware operating systems include Microsoft Windows 95, 2000 Professional, 98 OEM 2, and XP Professional. Software applications supported include but not limited to: Microsoft Office products, Corel products (including Adobe Photoshop and Page Maker), Macromedia Dreamweaver, Contribute 2, and Captivate and various driver software. Also responsible for Web page modifications, Department photography and photo enhancements.

Support a nation-wide medical community customer base regarding computer applications for medical transcription software. Assist telephonically and with on-site installations of application software. Manage customer support center personnel while they perform editing and transcription services to medical clinics. I also travel around the states of Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and North Dakota as a trainer of propriatory software

Monitor the current Point of Sale (POS) POS software and License Agent activity throughout the state of Montana for the department. Contact the license agents throughout the state, provide software training, hardware support and recommend software modifications where needed.I took a leave of absence from Montana and conducted POS training for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation from June 1 through July 31. Student load was 16 - 35 per day at each location.I was responsible for daily set up of classrooms with a projection device, dial up computers and study materials.The classes were approximately 6 hours in length with a practical exercise at the end of each day.

Provide support during the development of an Oracle-based point of sale software for Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks Automated Licensing System (ALS). Software testing and Quality Assurance - throughout term of contract;The Project consisted of 450 Point of Sale devices deployed throughout the state of Montana; a set of Central Applications modules including a Help Desk, accounting and customer database for transaction tracking.The primary purpose of my position was to maintain communications between the 4 sub-contractors and thecustomer, to ensure each phase of the project was completed within the contract guidelines and that the software was as error free as possible

Provide logistical support to an Army National Guard Medical Unit consisting of 4 companies located in 4 states and totaling 343 personnel.
