-Installs and adjusts feed mechanisms guide rollers, tracks, machine fitting and attachments-Adjust controls, such as setscrew and cams to synchronize machine mechanism-Disassemble machine and replace worn or defective parts, such as circular knives, grinding wheels and rollers-Replace or repair defective machine belts-Use hand tools, portable power tools and material handling equipment to perform a precision set-up during production line change over-Identifies and performs adjustment to improved production during line operation to meet all production requirements-Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment by making regular inspections and completing assigned preventative maintenance work orders-Assist senior mechanics in diagnosing problem in order to learn to perform complex repairs-Perform all duties in compliance with safety rules, SOPs and current manufacturing practices
