About Greg Burns

After 35 years in investment banking / stockbroking including three years rated Australia's # 1 stockbroker , I found myself with a bad case of burnout. Shifting gears, today I'm helping build a company that I co-founded called Ubility . We show individuals and companies how to harness productive resilience and get a head of burnout and chronic stress. My career in investment banking started as a sales trader with Potter Partners ( now UBS ) with my big break in 1980 when I joined McIntosh Securities and became a member of the ASX. After being made a Partner in 1982 , we grew the firm from 28 people to a listed company with a market capitalisation of $ 670mn.After a brief sabatical in 1990 , I was a director at County Securities before joining Credit Suisse as an Executive Director of Equity Capital Markets .Today, in addition to my work with Ubility , I'm an accredited Executive Coach always looking for ways to help leaders build better companies. As a student at the school of life I've learned that loyalty is something to be treasured and that smart motivated people can make incredible things happen.I'm a life long Richmond supporter but don't hold that against me ,so you can see how important resilience is to me !!When I'm not in the office I'll be down at the farm on the Mornington Peninsula or trying to get my golf handicap down at the National Golf Club .Dear all,I have decided to join the ranks of the gainfully unemployed .. retire ,so I can spend more time pursuing my passions and relaxing at the farm . I would like to wish you all the very best for the future and I am always available if you think my counsel may add value .RegardsGreg Burns
