Tech: PHP, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, AJAX, MySQL, HTML, Agile, AngularJS, Angular4My current project is creating the TalkTalk IOS app using native Objective-C. This involves GraphQL and API integration with TalkTalk Services. I work within the Online Group, which is responsible for the TalkTalk website, Android and IOS apps, online sales, customer accounts and marketing. My work involves teamwork and cooperation with marketing, sales and Quality Assurance. TalkTalk projects are Agile Scrum. Work is split into Sprints. All work is customer tested and projects are designed to implement functionality quickly with minimal unnecessary administration. QA are involved at all stages of project development. Customer service and quality are the principal driving forces for development to reduce the need for customers to call for help by providing better experience with online self-help services. It is planned that most customers will eventually interact online instead of by phone. The Online Group generates a substantial portion of company revenue. GIT is used as the project source control system.I have been involved in many projects with the TalkTalk Group. Some of these are:• Using Angular 4 in an Agile environment to create the previous TalkTalk mobile application.• Using Angular 4 to extend the Repair project for customer self-service.• Extended and maintained the TalkTalk website front-end and back-end using PHP. Also used Javascript and SQL. This involves adding new API driven web pages for multiple areas and functions such as security, sales, my account etc. Development is done on Unix using Agile Scrum project management. • Developed the TalkTalk speed-checker with OOKLA. This used PHP, Javascript, involved accessing web services to get the users account details and generating advice based on the speed-checker results and customer situation(distance to exchange etc). • Developing the sales pages

I created the AOL internet services distribution CD and router setup software. This work involved using Flash, ActionScript, Javascript. The software configured the Customers router and installed the AOL software & services onto their machine. The work was highly tested and involved teamwork with other departments to ensure it was easy to use by customers.

Network Management Engineer. Created first Network management applications for 3Com.I have been involved in the design and development of all of the company's four generations of network management Enterprise software products. During the development of these products, I have gained experience of all aspects of the software development life cycle from the original concept, through to specification and development, to the testing and final release of the finished product, working to 3Comís highest quality standards.AchievementsI was responsible for the development of 3Comís first advanced graphical user interface for a Network Management product and critical core software using Booch Object Orientated Design software and Java, C, C++, MOTIF, SNMP and X-WINDOWS. I was involved in developing critical GUI components in the latest Network Management products using Java, which is still 3Comís primary Enterprise Network Management product.Developed new SNMP MIB documents for 3Com Created an XML tool to export Network Management Topology maps to Microsoft Visio using the Visio XML Schema.Responsibilities also included Testing, Research, Documentation.
