Senior Geoscientist
Current- Geoscientist incorporating seismic, geologic, core, and petrophysical data for new developmental wells. Manage data, oversee geologic operations on new wells, and evaluates areas for potential expansion and investment.
- Generate and use seismic attributes, and detailed horizon picking to identify geologic features, which have proven to be productive and led to a 235% increase in avg. monthly production.
- Interpret seismic data, by loading wells and logs, tying well data to the seismic with synthetics and check shot surveys. Picking horizons and faults in order to generate time, depth and isotime maps for development.
- Select formation tops and generate maps based on geological, geophysical and petrophysical data. Use that data to determine new drilling locations in South Texas and Alberta CA.
- Oversee geosteering and mud logging operations on actively drilling wells. Load and update geologic data, including well data, well logs, frac data and production data.
- Contribute to planning a drilling program to develop the new drilling targets.
