I’ve always enjoyed manufacturing, taking raw materials and making them into a finished good. Starting out that experience came through engineering, working as a liaison between production and clients developing an idea into reality. As customer relationships emerged my time swayed from CAD to conversation, still using my deep involvement in ERP/CPQ to understand and efficiently quote challenging projects, but finding myself making onsite personal visits.Moving to Colorado in 2009, still under the same company umbrella added growth to my personal portfolio. Instead of focusing on offering products lines, I now found myself offering a capability which significantly changed my strategic approach towards sales growth and messaging. This led to working more directly with similar manufacturers, solving problems by working with other engineers guiding them to a better understanding of our processes, and ultimately designing products that worked best for both of us.Over time many of my travels ended up including agricultural contacts, OEM’s, Growers and Distributors. This direction led me to my current Director of Sales position at Noffsinger Manufacturing, which I’m very grateful for. I’m lucky to work with a group of peers and customers that I genuinely enjoy spending time with. Through planning and perseverance, we’ve accomplished consistent growth each of my 4+ years. Personally, my move to Colorado led to a family of 4 in Johnstown. My wife and I enjoy taking our two young boys out on adventures whether it’s through town or trails. On my own time you’ll catch me watching a Packer game sipping a hoppy IPA.
