I Graduated from college in 1979 with a business degree specializing in Marketing. I took a job with Color by Century which was changed to Colortonics and later changed to Reedy Photoprocess. That was a priceless education. Negotiated the purchase of a lab down in Florida and re-branded for Reedy Photoprocess, another priceless education.I then started and operated Fotohaus, a professional photo lab for over 24 years catering to the best studio photographers in the region! I took great pride visiting my studios and witnessing the excited expressions on their customer’s faces as they saw their finished portraits for the first time. I sold my lab in 2005. I took over as their Vice President for 10 years at a national lab with hopes of seeing many more customers enjoy great portraits across the country.From 2010 til 2015, I instructed professional photographers around the country on how to produce event photography correctly; Church Directories, Private Golf Clubs, Social clubs and more. It has always been a passion of mine to get great portraits out to the masses at a reasonable price. I know how much my family enjoys the great portraits we have had done of our family! I know our grandchildren and future generations will someday as well.So at 60 years of age, with my knowledge of 35 years in this industry, I started Fotohaus USA with my daughter who grow up in the industry and understands my passion to provide quality portraits in the event photography market. I have convinced some of my best photographers to join me in our greatest attempt to “Pay it forward”. Our goal is to get emotionally charged portraits that reflect the true relationships of families onto the walls of as many homes as possible. Most importantly, we will do this for a third of a studio’s normal prices.I now enjoy watching my daughter continue to move Fotohaus forward.
