Contract Start-Up TPA Worksite Claims DeveloperAs a Team Lead for Venture US Enterprises/AIA, I successfully set up and created the claims operations department for a Third Party Administration (TPA) for Voluntary Worksite Insurance products.I was responsible for developing metrics, reporting guidelines, operational guidelines, forms, legal oversight, timing and standard operating procedures, as well as coding and claims management processes of this new venture for AIA in Clearwater, Florida.The initial plan was to continue with a claims management department in Kansas City, but the ultimate decision was to take it in-house.
