Greg Chensky is a seasoned Director of Finance specializing in the hospitality industry. With more than 18 years of experience with top-tier hotel brands, he has demonstrated leadership expertise overseeing successful business operations, financial planning and reporting, and process controls.When Greg joined Dorchester Collection’s Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air as Area Director of Finance in December of 2014, he brought a tremendous experience to his current role. Greg’s career began with Marriott Hotels International as Assistant Controller at the San Francisco Airport Marriott. He then joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as Controller of their property and club in Vail, Colorado, and had the opportunity to work under the corporate leadership of legendary hotelier Horst Schulze. Greg continued to expand his career growth as Director of Finance, Property Consultant and Internal Audit for The West Paces Hotel Group, and then assumed the role of Controller with Tishman Hotels at their Eldorado Hotel and Spa and the Warner Center Marriott properties. He then went on to be the Area Director of Finance for Capella Telluride and Inn at Lost Creek in Colorado, and was the Director of Finance for Lowes Santa Monica before joining Dorchester Collection.His experience extends beyond overseeing operations, finance and accounting into information systems and technology, purchasing, and risk management. In addition to implementing advanced technology platforms, Greg has effectively championed risk management programs resulting in decreased rates and insurance expenses.
