In the 15 years I have been at Sure i have had a few roles within the IT Team.I joined in 2007 as an IT Engineer. In 2015 I was promoted to Senior IT Engineer and the following Year i was then promoted to IT Team Supervisor. Then in January 2018 I was then promoted to IT Team Supervisor and again had a job title change the following year to IT Team Leader. My manager felt another promotion was due and I was then promoted to IT Help Desk Manager. The Same year the IT Manager left the business and I was then promoted again to the IT Manager in October 2019. This Job covers a wide variety of Systems and with a small team of only 3 in the Corporate IT side and 2 on the ISP and Firewall side under my management we achieve a lot for a very small IT Team.Some of the systems and duties for this role are listed below.AD, Azure AD, Office 365, MS ATP, One Drive, Sharepoint, MS Teams, Ms Exchange Admin, Windows Server all versions, Windows 10, SCCM, Powershell, MS RDS, DFS Setup and Support, DHCP, DNS, App Proxy Setup, Solarwinds, Zabbix, SCOM, VMware, Veeam, Zerto, CP Firewall.

After arriving back to Guernsey after travelling the world for 15 months I was employed by CI Traders LTD in Guernsey as an IT Engineer. This role was to support staff and the systems they used which would range from Office based staff, Supermarket IT Systems, pub till and PC systems. Servers, desktops etc. the role required regular travelling to different jurisdictions (or satelite offices)

Whilst travelling the world I needed some extra funds so when in Australia I used my working Visa to get a contract with BT Financial who are part of the Westpac Bank in Sydney.I was part of the IT Security Team setting up new AD users with VPN access and email access and also responsible for Security On shares.

I worked another 1 month contract whilst out in Australia for James Hardie Limited. This role was to support James Hardie Staff world wide so one call could be with someone in the USA and the next Australia. I provided remote support for staff fixing software issues and also setting up new users in Active Directory. Another duty was to monitor Mail Marshall for blocked emails and release when requested to.
