Product development at a semiconductor manufacturing site (fab), is focused on the health, cost, and efficiency, of the wide variety of computer chips we manufacture at Texas Instruments. The teams also dedicate a lot of time to product testing and reduction of manufacturing defects.

The Product Quality Assurance team is comprised of 4 separate engineering teams each being lead by an engineering manager. Much of the team consists of boots on the ground product engineers that work at the actual Fab site. We drive the quality assurance activities within IMFlash such as: product grading, product disposition, customer issue investigation,audit, deviation investigation, process and product reliability testing and monitoring, and change risk analysis for process, product, and testing changes.Product Qualtiy Assurance is not just a reactive team of engineers, we stive to proactively push the the advancement of quality for our customers.

The PYA Manager is responsible for directing a team of PYA Engineers in sustaining the current multi part type technology nodes. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Completing all required safety training and ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with IM Flash safety policies· Partnering with stakeholders to improve cumulative yield, reliability, and Fab alignment· Communicating with stakeholders to ensure success on each product throughout its lifetime· Monitoring probe Qual activities· Managing the performance and professional development of direct reports· Facilitating the technical and career development of all area personnel· Encouraging team member engagement by setting challenging goals and communicating Line of Sight· Managing projects to ensure deliverables are completed within the required timeframe· Knowing IM Flash policies and partnering closely with HR· Ensuring the area has succession plans for all key positions · Developing and optimizing product performance by partnering with production, process areas, and probe

IM Flash Technologies is a joint manufacturing venture between Intel and Micron. We manufacture NAND Flash memory. Product yield analysis involves debugging new products and optimizing existing products to increase the overall number of quality products produced with the same resources. To execute these tasks an engineer needs to understand how the product works, how the product is tested, and how the product is manufactured.

IM Flash Technologies is a joint manufacturing venture between Intel and Micron. We manufacture NAND Flash memory. A product lifecycle management (PLM) engineer seeks to optimize time to market and to avoid uneccessary capital expenditures. Besides managing high level milestones and plans, a PLM engineer serves as a communication conduit between business planning and the engineering departments. Some primary job responsibilites are:• Establishing new product development plans including schedule and unique resource requirements. • Managing product lifecycle activities to track performance to plan.• Reporting progress on product development and lead decision-making teams at critical points throughout the product lifecycle.• Establishing business processes to synchronize manufacturing plans with process and product development activities to improve time to market.

• 10 years experience in semiconductor design.• Designed products on Intel’s 0.4um, 0.25um, 0.18um, 0.13um, 90nm, and 65nm processes generations• Contributed as a design engineer or a design engineer manager to the following Intel product lines: NOR FLASH (M18, W18/W30, B3/C3, and P30 product families), PXA800F cellular processor with embedded FLASH memory, the P5314PDCharm2Single-Chip Baseband with embedded memory, and the UBPODP66x333 overdrive micro-processor.• Managed up to 13 other design engineers while in a design engineering manager role
