About Greg Collins

I am the CEO and founder of Grit Inc. a Canadian sporting goods company. My background is in sporting goods manufacturing and for many years I provided a creative design service for that industry. This experience gave me access to the guts of many sports businesses allowing me to gain a unique perspective on the success and failure of sports products. In 2000 I formed GRIT as a marketing vehicle to sell designs of my own creation; I realized that in the early stages of the brand development ownership and control was very important to our success.
