Greg Corner is a Chicago based DJ, bass player, event producer, music programmer and artist consultant best known for his ability to throw successful events and spin eclectic music that people of all backgrounds love.In 2012 Greg joined JBTV Music Television as Music Director, Executive Producer, and Host. Under Greg’s watch, JBTV has elevated its tradition of New Music Now by booking world renowned and breaking artists like Arctic Monkeys, Bastille, Imagine Dragons, Fitz and the Tantrums, Hozier, Cage the Elephant, Tove Lo and many more. He came to be known as The President’s DJ in August of 2011, when he was invited to DJ President Barack Obama’s 50th Birthday party at Aragon Ballroom, playing alongside such notable musical guests as Herbie Hancock, OK GO, and Jennifer Hudson. After that success he was invited to DJ more political events for the First Lady Michelle Obama, and Bill Clinton .In May of 2012, Greg founded Indie-Pendent Industries, an event and music consulting company based in Chicago, and has since personally performed at events sponsored by Google, Chevrolet, Budweiser, the Art Institute of Chicago and many more.In 2005, Greg started Dark Wave Disco. Dark Wave Disco was one of the first indie-electro events in the country and it became a huge success fast. The Dark Wave Disco DJs went on to host events showcasing big name acts such as: Justice, MSTRKRFT, Digitalism, Steve Aoki, Felix Da Housecat, A-Trak and Uffie just name a few. Greg got his start in the music industry in the early 90's by throwing underground house/Rave parties around Chicago. Shortly after he became the bass player for rock band Kill Hannah in 1997. Kill Hannah went on tour around the world and release records on Atlantic and Universal.
