I started out in the food business directly out of college. I began my food career in one of the largest privately held vegetable canneries in the country. My first position was in quality control, then as plant safety director, packaging production manager, warehousing manager, shipping director, and then taking all of these areas under my management as "finished goods manager". This invloved supervising approximately 300-400 personell involving 2 shifts of operation. I then moved into sales where I eventually became VP of sales and secretary of the company. I left after 13 years to take a job in Baltimore with a Food Brokerage company where I managed various divisions as VP and survived several mergers eventually becomming President of one operating division. The company was ultimately bought out by a national concern so I decided to take a buyout and retire from 30 years in the food business, move back to Rehoboth Beach, DE and sell residential and commercial real estate.Specialties: My areas of expertise are primarily managing people, marketing statistical analysis and problem solving.
