The Smart Hands Technician is onsite in the customer datacenter and is responsible for racking and stacking equipment, patch cabling, decommissioning equipment, equipment swaps and disposal activities. In addition, they will support troubleshooting hardware issues with remote admins, facilities management, site security, vendor and customer escorts, inventory management and project engagement, as required. Support datacenter and in network/communication rooms. Rack and stack physical servers, network devices, appliances, installation of patch cables, and decommission equipment. Troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues and configure ilom using crash cart. Bi-weekly on-call rotation.

Responsible to support both company-specific servers. In depth GPU systems knowledge, as well as datacenter buildouts at customer datacenters. Position requires technical hardware knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, physical network set up, and verbal/written communication skills, highly analytical. Support for Service technicians in the field. Provide feedback, create documentation on both technical and non-technical processes, and contribute to our knowledge library that can be leveraged by others, for example KB Articles, SOP, lessons learned, etc. Hardware troubleshooting, physical network setup.
