During retirement, from both Atomic Energy of Canada (AECL) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), I have accepted a variety of invitations to participate in and chair consultancies, technical meetings and workshops for the IAEA. The IAEA has also awarded several contracts to me, such as contracts to specify upgrades for the WWER benchmarking system, to update its companion draft technical document, and to write the user manuals. The various activities I was involved with are listed in my CV (a copy of my CV appears elsewhere in my profile). The IAEA has recognized my technical writing skills as well as my abilities to effectively chair meetings and ensure successful outcomes. What started out as a couple of invitations from one IAEA staff member has flourished into invitations from other staff members in multiple areas of radioactive waste and disused sealed radioactive source management. I sincerely appreciate the IAEA's on-going confidence in my abilities.
