Area Authority for all MSW fabric maintenance activities on the platform. This campaign was the largest fabric maintenance campaign Shell has undertaken in the North Sea in order to improve the integrity of the platform. The role included the safe preparation and operation of the work sites whilst plant and equipment still live and ensuring all safe guarding and safety critical elements were not impeded.

Operations turnaround focal for Gannet A. Tasked with organising, planning and co-ordinating all aspects of operations input into turnaround. Responsible for isolation philsophy; writing DFPV (drain, flush, purge, vent) procedure for hydrocarbon freeing platform; re-instatement procedures and testing: liaising with maintenance. Fully versed in planning, SAP scheduling, raising of deviation and ordering of materials.MSW operations focal point. Responsible for planning and implementing operations liaison tasks during MSW campaign on Gannet A.

Gannet Alpha

Oil and gas operations technician on the Gannet A. Competant in oil, gas and utilties modules and all aspects of first line maintenance. Ability to monitor, operate and control plant and process in order to achieve steady state conditions. The Gannet platform is a complex process comprising of a combination of platform wells and subsea wells making the control of the process a difficult task. I have taken upon myself to ensure that I understand every aspect of the process and thus aid in the steady production. Part of a team of operators striving to achieve top quartile performance in the industry in both HSE and production. Fully versed in the application of ISSOW safe system to work for both performing authority and isolation authority which is utilized to ensure safe working conditions are implemented. SI-971 Safety Rep involved in all aspects of HSE improvements and safe working practices.Awarded SVQ Level 3: Processing Operations (Hydrocarbons.)

Trainee Intsrument technican as part of the Opito/Shell apprentice scheme. Involved in all aspects of process control and insturmentaion to help achieve maximum up time and ensure maintenance schedules were achieved. Awarded SVQ Level 3: Process Engineering Maintenance (Instrument and Control) and Certificate Of Modern Apprenticeship: The Oil and Gas Extraction Industry.
