Responsible for the company installation, maintenance, configuration, and administration of the 100/1000 Ethernet LAN. I provide support for 8 Windows Servers and support for 125 mixed workstations, 65 printers, 15 network switches, and the PBX phone system. I have handled everything IT related for the once 35 employees when I started in 1996 to over 240 before Impulse was acquired by BTD MFG. I do work off hours especially when problems occur. I am very quick to respond to emails to provide feedback to users that submit errors or have any questions. I don't quit till the job is done. If a server goes down and it requires 38 straight hours then I am there.Project Experience:Project Managed the installation and configuration of the Company's EDI implementation. Currently maintain and control the automation of the EDI processes. This includes modifying and creating new mappings for new customers or transactions needed. Project managed and maintain the camera and access security system including HID Cards. Project managed the implementation and planning of a new network into a new building: Project included implementation of new enhanced CAT 5e wiring, LAN and PBX integration, and implementation of three new NT servers: one with Windows Terminal Server. The project also included installation, configuration, and managing a new phone system with voice mail that integrates CTI applications with the LAN. I support and manage the company users that is based on a SQL database. I create and modify VBA Code, forms, Crystal Reports, and troubleshoot problems with the system on a daily basis. Recently installed and configured 2 new Dell PowerEdge R720 Servers with 2 Gigabit Dell 48 Port Switches to increase throughput of the network to support increased production needs.
