As a trainee engineer, I worked closely with the Geotechnical and Drill and Blast teams to collect analyse and interpret empirical blast monitoring data with respect to geological and geotechnical parameters of the host lithology of the Lihir open pit operations to build the framework for a blast vibration model and damage prediction index for my final year undergraduate thesis.
