With a background in UK store management and merchandising, I am an International Franchise Specialist with a wide knowledge of franchising in the Middle East, India, South East Asia and Europe. I understand all the legal, operational, logistical, commercial and financial elements necessary for successful international franchising and am able to mobilise cross-functional groups to achieve success. Most recently, I launched Moss Bros outside the UK for the first time. Prior to this, I was Head of Franchise at Thomas Pink, managing the existing growing international franchise operation in China, India, Mexico, UAE, Australia, Hong Kong and South Africa and launching the Thomas Pink luxury shirt brand into new countries including Indonesia, The Philippines and South America, doubling the number of international franchise stores in under 3 years. This followed an eighteen month stint at the John Lewis Partnership, looking at international opportunities and future business models for them.My previous career was with Marks & Spencer becoming International Area Manager for Asia. Specialties: International Franchising and management and the co-ordination of retail disciplines to achieve business objectives but I am happy to consider any role in international franchising including any straightforward operational positions at management level or would be interested in transferring my skills into a completely new field.
