Answered incoming calls and made outbound calls on behalf of the office managers. Documented and communicated to office managers any actions, irregularities, inquiries, and continuing needs from tenants or other parties. Supported continuity of operations by assisting with filing, organizing bills, maintaining directories and contact lists, and writing memoranda. Completed other tasks as required by the office managers.

Converted (via scanning and copying methods) constituent files and papers into PDF form on the Bluebird online database used by the New York State Senate. Took phone calls from constituents on a myriad of issues, including by helping them access unclaimed funds from the State Comptroller’s Office and unemployment assistance. Participated in community outreach events within the State Senate district, such as food drives, breast cancer screenings, and beach cleanups.

Operated the cash register and completed transactions in a timely and efficient manner. Stocked newly shipped items in order to maintain sufficient inventory to maximize sales. Displayed a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.

Provided research on about 2 cases per week of health care law for cases against insurance companies. Assisted with drafting letters to insurance companies, health care practitioners, and patients concerning insurance billing. Assisted in scanning medical records, including explanation of benefits, and organizing scanned records onto an online patient charts files in order to improve company efficiency.

Organized library books in the correct location at the Saltzman Center library, filing new library books on a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and placing labels on each of the books. Walked through campus to timely fulfill the requirements of cross-campus deliveries, particularly to the Human Resources Center to file payroll sheets. Guided children attending summer camp off and on the bus and helping teachers obtain supplies necessary for their classes.
