Epp Specialist
I started in the plate room running a Strobbe Form stepper 500 and vacuframe. Was promoted to film assemblist for Rotary roll to roll/sheet and 4 color Commercial sheet fed presses. At that time we used a Brown 2000 camera to shoot copy for print. Moved to digital desktop when film was phased out. Last position held in production was digital desktop level 2. My responsibilities included spear heading our Print on Demand program on the production side at the downtown Bay City location. This entailed taking the orders from the digital store front and preparing them to be press ready jobs. Other duties included using the Adobe creative suite and any other tool necessary to prepare production jobs for print. I was also in charge of our archive system for many years. I am familiar with Retrospect, Trueflow Archive Manager, and Prinergy. My duties included regular use of Indesign, Photoshop, Quark Express, Illustrator, Acrobat, Pitstop, Quite Imposing, Trueflow, Archive Manager, and Prinergy.
