Job Duties: utilized a forklift extensively to move horizontal and vertical glass bucks, taking bucks into and out of robot cages, transporting roll carts and waste boxes to waste water, also responsible for running a sophisticated human machine interface that controlled all the parameters of the semiconductor coater, required to both start the coater into production and end said production, performed troubleshooting on coater’s transport, heaters, environmental control system, vibratory feeders, and interlock conditions, performed maintenance on the tool requiring lifting of lids via a pendant attached to a crane, replacement of rolls, bearings, couplers, heaters, viewport windows, and the removal of buildup of film overspray, interfaced with and troubleshot various robots associated with the process, ran engineering test authorizations which required the coater to be taken out of standard operating protocol, ran, monitored, changed cutting wheels on, and fixed a glass-beveling apparatus, measured and monitored the thickness of the deposited films, took stress measurements, and performed visual inspection of submodules, cut submodules into partitions, treated said with a photo oxidizer, ran partitions through a metalizer where tin oxide was applied, and tested partitions for quantum efficiency (a measure of the film’s absorption of visible light at the wavelength it absorbs most readily), briefly ran a sputter coater that sputtered films with the aid of targets, electrical, and magnetic fieldsCertifications: forklift, PAPR-mask, half-mask, LOTO certifiedAccomplishments: received numerous VA+ evaluations (the best evaluation possible), had perfect attendance eight of the ten years at the company.
