I spent 28 years with Deloitte in a variety of client service, thought leadership, and innovation roles, leading the conception, development, and application of some of the firm's most valuable franchises and IP—including the firm’s Enterprise Value Map™, Sustainable Value Map™, Board/CXO Value Map™, and the CFO Signals™ quarterly survey.My passion is helping people think about important challenges and decisions, clarify priorities, make informed decisions, and implement practical solutions. • As part of Deloitte's Global Sustainability team, I helped clients understand and address the economic, social, and environmental impacts of business activity—and the resulting opportunities and risks for their organizations. This included working with our CEO to develop Deloitte's new Sustainable Value Map™ to help leaders create sustainable value for their broader set of stakeholders.• As part of Deloitte's CFO Program, I led the conception, design, development and operations of the firm’s quarterly CFO Signals™ survey—referred to by Alan Murray at Fortune as "...the best and most reliable CFO survey around." Since 2010, this survey-based forum has helped top CFOs exchange perceptions, ideas and best practices around their business environments, organizations, and careers. • As a co-founder of Deloitte's Value Initiative, I led the design, deployment, and application of Deloitte’s well-known Enterprise Value Map™, a practical shareholder value framework designed to help clients focus on the parts of their businesses that matter most. Variants of these maps have been used by hundreds of companies, non-profits, business schools, and other organizations across the globe to teach concepts, start discussions, and make important decisions. • My teams' analysis and commentary have been featured in/on: The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, CNBC, CFO Magazine, NPR, Fortune, Forbes, Bloomberg, and a variety of industry/regional media channels.
