• Joined the Electric Transmission Strategic Projects team via direct placement to lead a significant portion of the Coastal Virginia Off-Shore Wind (CVOW) onshore infrastructure build-up, leading the project teams supporting the expansion of ET’s existing Fentress 500kV Substation as well as the installation of the CVOW point-of-interconnect station, Harpers Switching Station.• Supported the development of several major CVOW onshore equipment and service contracts which were successfully executed prior to the close of 2023, a CVOW executive team financial goal.• Proficiently managing the CVOW onshore non-standard equipment contracts to include several gas-insulated-switchgear (GIS) scopes along with what will become the largest Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) installation in Dominion Energy Virginia’s fleet of Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) devices.• Effectively navigating through the cumbersome, complex, and time-consuming Department of Defense procedures and processes that Dominion Energy Virginia must adhere to in order to successfully execute the installation of the CVOW point-of-interconnect station, Harpers Switching Station, which will reside on US Naval Air Station Oceana property.• Proactively anticipating impacts to the CVOW onshore scope, schedule and costs then providing the Dominion Energy Virginia executive team thorough and realistic project updates, visibility of active and anticipated risks, as well as guidance on critical decision points.• Providing accurate and on-time cost projection information for two critical CVOW onshore scopes, which equate to approximately 10% of the overall Coastal Virginia Off-Shore Wind projected spend, to aide in Dominion Energy Virginia’s transparent fiscal responsibilities to its rate payers and shareholders in one of the largest and most heavily scrutinized utility projects in the US.
