Responsible for developing and delivering new EPOS solution for the company, as part of a cross functional group.The role involves becoming a specialist on the new solution and a recognised key contact throughout the creation of the product and throughout implementation.Some of the key responsibilities are...• Creating project plans and delivering commitments on time whilst providing updates to key stakeholders on the project status• Create written documentation in support of individual sections of the solution and support the integration of the Learning and Development and Retail Ops materials so that they become BAU (over 7000 colleagues)• Support the development of eLearning modules to meet training requirements • Support Divisional Directors and Area Managers to implement changes within their Division smoothly during transition • Provide hands-on support to the physical implementation of the new solution • Provide coaching and support to all colleagues as required, in order to share any process changes and best practice • Collate, understand and share best practice during each phase of the project

My move to the Ayr store for the start of the 2014 financial year has given me the chance to develop an already successful team and take over from one of the longest serving store managers in Halfords and someone who I admire and aspire to emulate. I am proud to say that this year is the most successful I have had to date. The team rewarded me with a 100% engagement score and 95% leadership score. The team has performed exceptionally well and now leads the area in Value Added Sales. We also lead the company on Bike Care Plan sales. As a reward for our performance our store has been converted to the brand new award winning 50:39 concept. It is my pleasure to lead such a fantastically talented group of individuals.

My time in Airdrie remains one of the most successful periods in my career. Perhaps the most exciting part of this venture was being able to build a new team whilst developing existing colleagues. The store spent 3 years in the top 4 in our area and the team won several awards from 100% mystery shopper results to countless sales awards. A measure of the time I spent here was an area topping Engagement score which I am very proud of.

Having performed well during my training I was rewarded with an early appointment in the Lanark Branch whilst still in training. Here I began showcasing the skills I had acquired and led the team to the top of the Area in a very short space of time. Although I did not spend a great deal of time in this store I will always remember it for being my first Store Manager appointment.

I joined Halfords as a Store Manager Designate and began my training with the team in East Kilbride. I met some great people during my time here and learned the business whilst undergoing the company training.

During my second period in the Parkhead branch I furthered my knowledge of the business by taking over the Cycle department. As well as this I was also asked to support other stores and served periods in several branches...Govan, Dundee and Kirkcaldy.

On the back of a successful year I was given the chance to work in the highest grossing Toys R Us in Europe over the Christmas period. I gained a wealth of knowledge and assisted the store in achieving some fantastic results.

Very proud to be one of the first graduates from my course to gain employment actually recruited one month before graduation. Situated in Glasgow Parkhead for my training during the busy Christmas trading period. In 2006 I took over the SHOP FLOOR department, highest grossing department, resulting in a fantastic year of sales. In 2006/07 I won the Manager Of the Year Award for my area and was given the opportunity to work in the Newcastle Metro Store which is Toys R Us's highest turnover store in Europe.
