    My move to the Ayr store for the start of the 2014 financial year has given me the chance to develop an already successful team and take over from one of the longest serving store managers in Halfords and someone who I admire and aspire to emulate. I am proud to say that this year is the most successful I have had to date. The team rewarded me with a 100% engagement score and 95% leadership score. The team has performed exceptionally well and now leads the area in Value Added Sales. We also lead the company on Bike Care Plan sales. As a reward for our performance our store has been converted to the brand new award winning 50:39 concept. It is my pleasure to lead such a fantastically talented group of individuals.

Perhaps the most exciting part of this venture was being able to build a new team whilst developing existing colleagues. The store spent 3 years in the top 4 in our area and the team won several awards from 100% mystery shopper results to countless sales awards. A measure of the time I spent here was an area topping Engagement score which I am very proud of.
