Vice President, Treasurer
CurrentProgression in role from Sr Analyst to Manager to Director to AVP to VP, with increasing responsibility to:• Lead the negotiation and execution of external capital acquisition, including asset-backed securitization debt, corporate bond issuance, commercial paper conduits, and bank credit facilities for a Fortune 500 company• Forecast capital needs for the core retail business and CarMax’s captive consumer finance company, including development of financial statement forecasting models used in Board-level decisions• Formulate, advocate, and execute capital structure optimization strategies to increase shareholder returns, including design and implementation of corporate share repurchase programs• Analyze and implement financial hedging strategies, including an active interest rate swap program• Cultivate and own relationships within the organization and with external capital providers, including lenders, investment banks, and debt investors• Provide financial and analytical consultancy within the organization including related to investment and M&A activity• Oversee the Treasury Operations team responsible for cash management and banking, including cash forecasting, working capital management, and card payment programs.• Oversee the Risk Management team responsible for all company insurance policies and a captive insurance company.• Lead and develop the team responsible for above responsibilities
