I also completed the Process Piping Drafting program at SAIT in 1999 with honors. Relating to this I have taken SmartPlant P&ID training at Intergraph in 2003 as well as a 3 day PDS training program while at Worley Parsons in 2011.

Using AutoCad 2010 and MicroStation V. 8, EHT isometrics were created for pipes and vessels as required. I worked on CNRL Lurgi, Shell Carmon Creek as well as working with the small projects group. I was involved in EHT design on Shell Carmon Creek using CompuTrace, TSDS (data base), P&ID's and line lists. While on Shell, drawing standards and presentation evolved as information became available from the client.

Using MicroStation V. 8, installation details and EHT isometrics were created for the Imperial Oil Kearl Oil Sands project. Preliminary design to locate RTD and power point locations for EHT circuits was done using SmartPlant Review (SPR).I was involved in training staff on SPR and MicroStation.

Working as part of the ATP (Alberta Transmission Projects) business unit, I was responsible for various CADD updates to electrical substation, telecom and transmission drawings using MicroStation J and IRAS/B (for scanned manual drawings). Drawings were either created new or updated as required. Using AutoCad V.14, produced URD (underground residential design) facility maps, single line diagrams and composite maps for UtiliCorp. Utility power pole profile drawings were also created using raw survey and sag data.Facility maps were produced for Enmax using MicroStation SE.Produced cable termination reports using Access database from discrete/analog wiring diagrams and DCS I/O drawings. P&ID's and cable schedules were used to locqate information in this process.

Using CadPipe 5.3 and AutoCad V.14, orthographic and isometric drawings were produced for KNPC refinery project. I was at Enersul for my practicum after completing the Process Piping Drafting program at SAIT.

Using MicroStation 95, telecommunication drawing sets were created for new meter station sites in Alberta. I documented procedures for this as well as updating existing topology maps to reflect changes in the existing telecommunication network.

Various exploration maps were built and updated using MicroStation 95 on a Windows NT workstation. These maps included contour and cross section maps involving patterning and shading.

Working in the instrumentation department on the Saudi Aramco Uthmaniyah Gas Plant Project, revisions were done on instrumentation loop diagrams using MicroStation 5.0.

Working under the Engineering and Environmental Services Dept., I worked on 2 different projects using MicroStation 4.0. The Joint Utility Mapping Project for Sewers drafting involved the use of INFORMIX database with MicroStation to map sewer and catch basin locations. For Property Base Mapping, satellite coordinate information was used to re-map property lines and right-of-ways (utitity and green space) throughout the city as part of the Title Mapping Project.

Responsible for creation of 1:20000 provincial topographic maps based on digital information from orthophotos. The CADD software was from Geovision. This information was mapped in stages starting with contours, then rivers/streams and finally roads/highway information.
