This resulted in reduced accounting fees and the ability to run profit and loss reports at any time to measure sales campaigns profit margins.• Daily reconciling and banking.• Marketing and business development.• The set-up of a strategic business plan detailing marketing, financing and business growth opportunities for the future of the company.• Negotiated with key suppliers to buy goods at a substantial discount.• Created marketing campaigns to increase the sales of products. For example: Developed discount schemes and reward systems for customer purchases that exceeded a certain dollar transaction amount.• Developed key skills in merchandising by working with experts from Myers and David Jones.• Creating and developing new ways to reach out to the local community groups, businesses and sporting groups.• Relationships with customers, suppliers and staff.• Promoted, encouraged and rewarded the submission of ideas from staff to make the business more efficient. • Developed and maintained long-term relations
