  My employment commenced in the early seventies at the Commonwealth Department of Works, Central Testing and Research Laboratories known as CTRL Port Melbourne, Victoria. Although I did not recognise it this was my early introduction to corrosion protection. At CTRL later Scientific Research Laboratories (SSL) I evaluated protective coating both in the laboratory and field exposure. This followed employment with two water treatment companies, one national and one Victorian based. Joining HydroChem in March 1978 I have worn many hats. My current title is Technical Director which these days includes corporate management, responsibility of overseeing national training, head of the technical committee, product development plus a number of other things. Over the years I have serviced, team lead, managed our service department, national operations and even been General Manager. That was until I recommended Nick, now CEO would be the choice from a corporate view. Daily I provide technical support both internal and external. Enjoy the continuing challenge of changes to water treatment, materials of construction and passing on the knowledge.
