Utilize Conformal LEC for equivalence checking. Support chip integration testing and failure analysis. Provide DFT support.

Developed and maintained system architecture and specification for IP integration effort of a new Femptocell appliance. The IP integration included an ARM core, DSP core, custom memory, standard memory interfaces, PCI, timers, GPIO, etc.

Developed custom functional IC test patterns to target escaped defect reduction.

Lead Engineer on turn-key video ASIC design for DLP TV application.

Worked on first commercial N-AMPS cellular system. Worked on digital board with communication interface and microprocessor implementation (68302)Mocked up subscriber test system by converting a base station into FPGA-based subscriber functionality as a sole hardware design member of a 3 person team (1HW, 2 SW). Group leader for PHP micro-cells for Japanese market. Multiple customer visits in Japan to help with product testing/deployment.ASIC Design Engineer - worked on transmit section of CDMA modem.

Design Engineer for Mobil Radio Products Group. Worked to resolve design issues, including the elimination of microphonics in large radios, and Spice analysis of crystal oscillator circuits for cost reduction of precision components.

Designed and constructed test fixtures and control programs, primarily for Chicago Laser Systems laser trimmer used to trim voltage-controlled oscillators and receiver front-end circuits.
