I specialize in engineering solutions that streamline data capture, pipe-line processing, data modeling and systems integration. When working with developers, I often model in UML while providing clean facade designs that help decrease the learn-to-commit rate. Data systems, often include nosql, independent data-marts, and data warehouses. Traditional data systems are engineered using the latest ER Modeling technologies such as Chen, IDEF 1x, Kimball Group. Business Intelligence systems are engineered using data science theory including star, flaked, relational, and hierarchical models. I encourage loosely coupled systems using domain-driven and CQRS modeling techniques. When scalability is a concern, enterprise messaging systems and message brokers are used to decouple events and event processing.

I function as a key member responsible for development of mobile and content delivery solutions that help mature our service offering in the fulfillment and redemption processing industry. I often mentor fellow developers on the latest in ER Modeling and Patterns and Practices such as GoF and Kimball Group dimensional designs.

Application and production support developer. My key accomplishments include developing multiple domain-specific languages for line-of-business needs using Martin Fowler’s design guidelines. I functioned as the de facto integration engineer merging legacy Linux, C++, AS400 codebase with internal and external systems. I was a key member in developing procedures for SDLC and source control policies.

I functioned primarily as network engineer and integration developer. Additionally; I was a member of the management team providing direction on IT policies and procedures. One of my greatest accomplishments was developing an ASCx12 EDI processing engine that was tightly integrated into multiple line-of-business systems. Secondly; I was a key member of our engineering team developing C++ micro-controller firmware to meet UL requirements.

Day to day I managed technology services including exchange 5.5, MRP systems. My development skills were quickly noticed when I was tasked to develop firmware for multiple electronic test fixtures; I worked in assembly, C, C++ and multiple languages from national instruments.
