We have developed proof-of-concept sensors for detection of heavy metals in drinking water, cyanide poisoning due to smoke inhalation and for disease monitoring via enzyme and exoproduct assays. In collaboration with researchers at the TTU Health Science Center, we have also developed a proof-of-concept assay for rapid and early detection of the ESKAPE pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa. -
