Has overall responsibility for the end-end performance of the Broadcast & HF Business Unit's operations in Australia, Germany and USA.Is responsible for directing and overseeing the manufacturing operation plans and business activities for the achievement of short and long term operating and profit objectives and to ensure On-Time-Delivery KPIs are met.Delegate and oversee responsibilities for purchasing, warehousing, production, planning, costing, customer service, logistics and manufacturing engineering functions.Maintain & improve production output efficiency and utilisation through forecasted labour and material allocations, machine capabilities and loading. Planning directives, purchasing guidelines, warehousing policy etc.Produce regular management reports on assigned departments.In conjunction with other management, submit proposals for improved methods, machines, facilities and inventory reductions.Be accountable for the maintenance and continual improvement of quality levels and procedures for assigned departments as outlined in the current Quality Systems.Prepare and maintain control of and is accountable for achieving department budgets. Implementation of Corporate Safety Policy and ensure highest possible levels of safety are established throughout the facility.Ensure activities related to the function comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.

Responsible for the end to end supply chain from order entry and production planning including purchasing through to warehousing, distribution and logistics.Also continue to be responsible for the quality and environmental management systems.

Ensure that processes needed for the Quality and Environmental Management Systems are established, implemented and maintained. Reporting to top management on the performance of the systems and any need for improvement and also ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.

At the end of 2004 I took the opportunity to work at the French Design & Manufacturing Plant in Lannion France with my family for a 3 month period where I was a key member in the transfer of product, design and manufacture to France, USA & Brazil.

Tasks included New Product Project Manager where I was required to plan and manage development projects and report progress regularly to Global Product Line Management. Concurrently I continued to be a key member of other similar development projects performing Design for Manufacture and Assembly, Drafting, Supplier Visits, Customer presentations, detailed Cost & Risk analysis, Tooling & Jig design and Production Staff training.
