As a Senior Product engineer/ ODM Partnerships Manager, I have led the charge in our most recent Android TV programs with soon to be delivered devices in the retail and cable operator industry. We see the growth in this market segment to increase over the next few years as cable companies transition to over the top (OTT) television content provided via a high-speed Internet connection rather than by cable or satellite. This CPE (customer premises equipment) equipment provides additional user experiences, but at a lower cost for equipment. I have led all aspects of the programs including, customer requirements management, device specifications creation and oversight, device certifications (Google, Netflix, AmazonTV), platform validation (QA), ODM management, onsite customer support as well as technical support. I have also been a key contributor to the organization for continued annual product oversight to maintain hardware sales goals. Over the past 8 years I have been a focal point to the success of the company earnings of nearly $750 Million in CPE equipment sales. This included sales of equipment to customers such as Comcast, Cox Communications, Televisa(Izzi), Liberty Global (Cable and Wireless), TiVo Inc., as well as many other cable operator groups within the US and Canada. My position as product engineer mainly focused on all hardware validation and certification oversight. I ensured that all products met or exceeded industry standards for Customer premise equipment (CPE) within the US and International markets. This included all 3RD party hardware validation, internal hardware validation, all software validation, as well all device documentation. I contributed to all cost reduction analysis, licensing validation, and overall oversight for all hardware products. The products we developed and maintained during this time included uDTA (Universal Digital to Analog adapters) that are used with the US markets. For the international markets we developed and maintained Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) equipment which is a set of international open standards for digital televisions. All products were certified with Conditional Access Licensing as well to meet the requirements of the customers in their respective requirements.

At ITW TransTech I managed an applications and integration team that validated all digital printings system integration into product transport systems at ITW Transtech. Duties included but were not limited to, integrating printing technologies, prototyping of print concepts, hardware installation, printing system assembly, creating and reviewing project schedules, working with sales to finalize customer requirements and application needs, developing new product specifications and requirements, developing a customer support program, and customer onsite installations and technical support. Additionally, I managed and maintained the remote engineering facilities in Louisville Colorado. Duties included all facilities operations, maintenance, and oversight.

During my employment at iTi my position encompassed the development and test integration of printing technologies into various applications. This included digital materials deposition printing(XY MDS Table), web based digital label printing(InkJet WebPress), as well as various other customer specific driven applications. To expand on this, we developed a printer that printed silver conductive fluids on solar cells for prototyping solar technologies and circuits for NREL in Golden Colorado. We also developed a high speed web based printer for product labeling. My duties included but were not limited to, creating and reviewing project schedules, developing new product specifications and requirements, interfacing with existing and potential customers, product test and validation, product integration, as well as product manufacturing. I performed product installation, customer training, on-site debugging and repair for customers around the world. Also, continuously interfaced with customers to provide product support and industry related technical information updates.

During my time with Circle graphics I helped in the growth of a small Point of Purchase printing group to the largest outdoor signage printing company with the US. In a short period of time (3 years) we went from 3 employees to 150 and grew our business to $25M in annual sales. The main focus of my position was to maintain printing equipment operation for the 24/7 operations. My job functions also included development and test of inks and substrates as well as integration of new printing system within the production flow as well as all equipment training and technical support. As a founder of this still operating Company in Colorado, I am proud to have been part of something that started off as an idea that turned into a thriving business.
