(Java, ActiveMQ, Postgres, Tomcat, Camel, Wicket, JSON, XML, Spring, Hibernate and JDBC) Designed and implemented a steady state system that continuously updates the original temple ordinance archive of 1.7 Billion ordinances that was completed in February 2010. The archive is comprised of both a human-readable format on microfilm and a digital archive in XML format that is preserved in an XLibris archival system in the Church History department. This system is automated and is both self-validating and self-correcting.(Java, Postgres, Tomcat) Designed and implemented creation of snapshot of all of the 1.7 Billion ordinances in a Postgres database and the ability to generate a full, XML, digital archive at anytime. This system also automatically generates daily updates and automatically adds these daily updates to the digital archive. (Java, XML, JDBC) I contributed to the team startup and early design of the Emergency Archive system that is currently under development for long-term preservation of the critical temple ordinance data and genealogical data that exists in the Temple and Common Pedigree systems. (Java, RESTful web service) Designed and implemented a JAVA application to create an XML archive of all TSS temple ordinances interfacing with Tem-Ord RESTful web service.(Linux, Bash scripting)· Implemented and executed the scripts to support (throttling, monitoring, etc.) this system ran efficiently and nearly flawlessly over a three week period as a Digital archive of TSS CTRs was created in February 2010.(Java) Designed and implemented a validation application to validate all records and fields for the Film archive of TSS temple records.(Java) I worked with product managers and architects to design this data preservation system.

The cluster processing was implemented using an NFS shared file system, and scripts to instigate the data processing. Linux and Python/Bash scripting.• Designed and implemented all support for the WorkingArea (workspace) for TempleReady for Internet. Allows users to select individuals, query the selected individual’s information from the database and calls modules which perform qualification checking and duplicate checking. All information saved to Oracle database, via JDBC and SQL.• Designed and implemented a web browser-based Password recovery system, using JSP, JNDI, JavaScript, and interfacing with LDAP and JavaMail. This system allowed a user to reset his password and generate a new temporary password and e-mail it to him. Web development, JSP, JNDI. • Worked on Search Broker and Search Agent modules that are the middleware for the database search engines of a genealogy website. Developed modules in Java and C++.
