Greg is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Footbridge Partners. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in their Private Equity Group, evaluating private equity fund investments, co-investments, and secondary private equity investments. Following Goldman Sachs, Greg attended Harvard Business School, where he & his section mate (David) formed a search fund vehicle designed to acquire and operate one lower middle market business. Greg & David searched for, acquired, operated & sold smarTours, a value-oriented tour operator, generating an outsized return for investors. Greg served as co-CEO and on the Board of Directors from 2013 to 2019.Greg is actively involved in the broader search fund community and is a regular lecturer at top MBA programs across the country. Greg also co-authored Yale School of Management cases entitled “How to Prepare for a Search Fund During Your MBA” and “A Call to Philanthropy in the Search Fund Ecosystem”. He serves on the Board of Directors of five companies on behalf of Footbridge Partners: The Skin Center, The Change Companies, AQC Traffic Control, 360 Smart Networks, and ElderTree. He is also on the Board of Directors of the THANC Foundation and the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco. Greg lives in San Francisco, CA with his wife and two daughters.Greg graduated from Harvard College, cum laude, with a degree in Economics, and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
