As a Safety-Critical Trainer for Curve Training and Consultancy, I've had the privilege of interacting with a diverse spectrum of professionals, from novices embarking on their railway careers to experienced personnel seeking skill enhancement. Using the wealth of experience I have gained, I infuse real-life scenarios and practical insights into my training sessions, effectively engaging learners and equipping them with invaluable skills to navigate the railway environment safely. Serving as a Mentor on the Infrastructure has been a truly empowering experience. I get to guide aspiring individuals towards success by fostering a safety-conscious mindset, empowering them to make well-informed decisions and approach critical situations with unwavering confidence. In my role as an Assessor, I hold the crucial responsibility of evaluating the competence of railway personnel across various safety-critical roles. Ensuring that everyone possesses the necessary skills to execute their duties safely and efficiently is paramount to maintaining a secure railway network. The railway industry is dynamic, with safety standards continuously evolving. As both a Trackman and Trainer, I have remained steadfast in keeping up with the latest best practices. Incorporating these methodologies into our training, assessment, and mentorship processes. I am committed to making an enduring impact in the railway industry. My goal is to ensure that safety remains the cornerstone of every operation, and that every individual involved is equipped with the knowledge and skills to thrive in their roles while upholding the highest safety standards.

Working with On Track Technicians on my journey as a Trackman has been an invaluable experience. Building upon my PTS and lookout tickets, I found myself among skilled professionals, eager to share their expertise. The opportunity to work with On Track Technicians has allowed me to undergo comprehensive training in various safety-critical competencies. With their guidance, I have progressed through different levels of competency, gaining a deep understanding of railway operations and safety protocols. It's been a journey of continuous learning and development both on site and in the classroom. As I advanced, I had the privilege of reaching the pinnacle of track safety competence – becoming a PICOP (Person in Charge of Possession). This significant responsibility places me in charge of railway possessions, ensuring the safety of workers and the public during maintenance and engineering works. Throughout my time with On Track Technicians, I've developed a strong sense of camaraderie with my colleagues, fostering a team spirit which has been the driving force to allow us to achieve excellence in our work. The sense of fulfilment that comes from contributing to the reliable functioning and safety of Northern Ireland Railways is truly rewarding and I am grateful for the opportunities that On Track Technicians presented me with.

This is where I embarked on my Railway Career Northern Excavators. Armed with my PTS (Personal Track Safety) and lookout tickets, I found myself immersed in the vibrant world of rail infrastructure. Working diligently as a lookout, I ensure the safety of the tracks and personnel during operations, fostering a culture of security. My training with Northern Excavators honed my skills, allowing me to contribute effectively to rail projects with each day always presenting new challenges.
