Greg is a seasoned manager and earned his CPP (Board Certified in Security Management) in 1980 by exam. He has authored a Dummies Book dealing with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery and is a published author of articles on Disaster Management and Security in the United States and abroad. He is Co-Author and Editor-In-Chief of a best selling book in the security community published by ASIS International titled “Emergency Planning Handbook.” He is also co-author of the Guideline on Business Continuity - A practical Approach for Emergency Preparedness, Crisis Management and Disaster Recovery. In his career he was CSO (Chief Security Officer) for The New Covenant Campus of The New Covenant Church of Philadelphia from 1999 until 2005. Before that he was CSO for The Independence Blue Cross Family of Companies in downtown Philadelphia from 1989 until 1997, and CSO for Penn Mutual Life for 8 years before that, and Connecticut Mutual CSO before that. He has been in Security Management since 1975. Greg is a 1971 graduate of Penn State and in his career he has taught Public Speaking, Business Management, Total Quality Management, Security Management and Methods, Communication, Motivation and most recently Disaster Management and Recovery. His teaching experience has included Connecticut College, Penn State, The University of New Haven, General Dynamics, ASIS International and various professional organizations in the United States, Jamaica West Indies and Ecuador. He is also a teacher in the Willingboro, New Jersey School District teaching Science, French, Spanish, Math and English.Since 1975, Greg has been a member of ASIS International and is currently a member of their Crisis Management and Business Continuity Council.
