These projects are focused on variation reduction in the steelmaking processes, to increase customer satisfaction and to improve sales, delivering 55M in savings in 2015.• Introduced the concept of Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) projects to the management teams in the fall of 2015. This resulted in 7 SMED projects that resulted in a changeover time reduction.
6 Sigma Master Black Belt
• Provide leadership in the development and implementation of a supply base strategies.
