I am a trusted Program Leader who manages a team of 14 practitioners and liaises with stakeholders across Victoria. Our vision at Foundation House is a world without torture and where communities respect, embrace and empower people from refugee backgrounds to thrive. I lead the development activities across the school and early years sectors where the focus is upon building the capacity of staff to support children and young people from refugee backgrounds to thrive in their education settings.I have over 30 years community development experience in government, education, church and not for profit sectors, with 15 years in management. I have managed a range of practitioner teams engaging in community development work in a variety of settings. I am known for my innovation and enabling style of leadership, building strong trusted relationships and articulating vision and strategy. I am proud to lead a high performing team of 14 practitioners who build the capacity of Victorian schools and early years services to support children, young people and families from refugee backgrounds.
