Raised on a small family cash crop farming operation near the rural McLeod County community of Silver Lake, Minnesota, I was immersed into the farming lifestyle of the area and quickly gained a fixation with pursuing the variety of game species it provided. From this, a true appreciation for land and a passion for balancing agricultural production and habitat management developed. I mainly credit my father with this as it was he who had me either sitting on a tractor seat or tracking behind him through the woods, wetlands and to the lakes at a very early age. Besides being a Land Specialist with Whitetail Properties Real Estate and being fortunate to now be a partner in the family farming operation, my entire occupational career has revolved around assisting landowners with land management decisions that benefit their personal desires and financial needs.Besides thoroughly enjoying assisting land owners/buyers and living the farming lifestyle, my outdoor passions find me pursuing whitetails, pheasants, turkeys and waterfowl across mainly Minnesota, Wisconsin, North/South Dakota and Saskatchewan as well as fishing for Walleyes in the “off season". My new found love however simply revolves around sharing outdoor experiences with my family and passing on the outdoor heritage and appreciation of land to my children the same way my father did.My father always said “Land is one of the most rewarding purchases because there is only so much of it made!”. I quickly adopted this motto into my own life and am excited to now be able to apply it and my experiences to assist others with land sales, purchases and management decisions.
