Documented data retention requirements and retrieval time for historical data need after migration of SAP ECC SAP& BI data warehouse systems. Converted all modules from COBOL, COBOL II to COBOL for MVS/LE. Assigned work to team members, and setup conversion and testing schedules. Tracked conversion effort. Converted from CICS 2.1.2 to CICS 4.1. Provided technical assistance to team members as needed. Coded of Y2K changes in modules (batch and on-line). Tested of modules using Hourglass 2000, Date2000(DataAger), Xpeditor and Playback. Ensure all documentation of Y2K changes was kept current, and all test results are being archived for legal purposes.

Y2K ProjectRan discovery tool (Impact2000) against production modules to determine extent of Y2K changes needed for project. The remediation involved COBOL, COBOL II, and CICS DB2 & VSAM in both a batch and on-line environment. Y2K changes were made using a window technique, and no external files were changed for this process. Set up test files and scenarios for QA testing environment.
