Litigation support on behalf of various clients related to large scale litigation and administrative review. Review and analyze corporate documentation for responsiveness, proprietary information, and privilege using various computer based review including Concordance, Ringtail, Velocity, and Sharepoint.

· Represented numerous individuals throughout their claims for workers’ compensation under the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Act. · Negotiated settlements with opposing counsel or claims adjusters and communicate progress to individual petitioners. · Conducted hearings before arbitrators at the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission. · Conducted case management procedures including researching and drafted court documents to prepare for proceedings and managed medical histories for individual claimants.

· Developed structural engineering design of the newest U.S. Navy Amphibious Transport Ship, LPD-17.· Was a key developer of structural detailing in a 3-D computer model that was used by other structural designers and production staff in the ship’s design.· Was actively involved with a multi-company, team environment which required the integration my knowledge of the ship construction process.· Advanced my proficiency in applying American Bureau of Shipping classification rules and various military specifications.

· Supported the development of Intergraph’s ship design and production modeling software by testing new product releases and gaining customer feedback.· Provided customer software demonstrations, gave instruction to small groups in a classroom environment and provided on site customer support in association with the LPD-17 project at Avondale Shipyards.· Was closely involved with analyzing the shipyards workflows and processes such as the design review procedure, schematic design, and production drawing creation in order to tailor the software specifically for Avondale Shipyards.

· Worked in all aspects of design, engineering, and support of Windjammer Barefoot Cruises fleet of ships.· Was the onsite liaison between the Miami design office and the shipyard in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad during the conversion of Windjammer’s newest sailing/passenger ship.· Developed structural, HVAC, piping, and outfitting designs accounting for suggestions from the production staff as well as interferences and unknown prior changes due to lack of original drawings.· Worked closely with the production supervisor in the construction scheduling process.· Assisted ABS inspectors in their classification inspections and surveys.· Became extremely familiar with design regulations by agencies including ABS, USCG, SOLAS, and USPH emphasizing rules relating to passenger vessels.
