I lead the Public Sector Solutions Department at LLamasoft, which focuses on Government and other public sector business. The department primarily has work in the military and global health arenas, providing leading supply chain analysis for a variety of US military clients including the United States Transportation Command, the Joint Staff, the Defense Logistics Agency, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense and for partners such as John Snow, Inc and the World Bank working on supply chain excellence in the developing world.
I work with military supply chain problems, primarily for the United States Transportation Command at Scott AFB, IL. I am involved with modeling and analysis of supply chain and transportation networks, mostly using the Supply Chain Guru software application. I also am the technical lead on a research and development project to inject optimization into the decision making process of the DOD's primary transportation model, the Analysis of Mobility Platform (AMP). This project is intended to support real world scheduling of airlift missions as well as development of better transportation solutions to large-scale military deployments. While I primarily focus on military applications, I do consult from time-to-time on commercial supply chain analyses as well.
I work on multiple projects as part of the Joint Distribution Process Analysis Center (JDPAC). My focus is on operations research, modeling, and simulation of military logistics networks. I am also involved in optimization of USTRANSCOM operations through the Agile Transport for the 21st Century (AT-21) project.
I work on multiple projects involving analysis of global supply chain and transportation issues for the US military. As a direct-support contractor analyst in the Joint Distribution and Process Analysis Center (JDPAC), the US Transportation Command's (USTRANSCOM) analytical Center of Excellence, my areas of focus include programmatic studies as well as analyses of current operations.
